I'm not entirely sure why folks are having problems with this product - but I suspect that the previous reviewer who said to view the video on the manufacturer's web site hit the nail on the head. The instructions on the package are inadequate.
The anti-glare properties are a much needed change to the standard screen, and the feel is actually an improvement. Instead of slick glass, it's satin smooth. But you do need to take a few minutes to install the protector correctly, exactly as shown in the 2:59 minute video. I viewed the video through once before opening the package, then did my installation while it played through again. Didn't even have to watch it all the way through the second time. Total installation? Less than five minutes.
The video doesn't emphasize making sure that the film is square to the screen so it doesn't touch the iPad sides, which can result in the edge of the film being slightly raised and create a `bubble.' That didn't particularly bother me as the edges are inside my case anyway - but it might bother others, so a bit of patience and caution is advised.
If you have an iPad and want to reduce glare, improve the screen `feel,' and protect that glass from things like jewelry - this one will do the trick nicely. Strongly recommended.

What a difference this makes in the readability of my iPad. The anti-glare feature really helps. The protective screen is quite thick and, therefore, it goes on easily. The best thing though is that it cuts down on the fingerprints all over the screen, which were so annoying. I rarely have to wipe the screen at all now. The price was higher than the others I looked at, but I'm very glad I opted to spend more to get this great anti-glare screen protector. There are two in the package, but I cannot imagine why I would ever need the second one. It's good to have it though, just in case.

After reading some of the reviews I was nervous about this product. However, I went ahead and purchased it anyway and I'm glad I did. My first attempt went really smooth and I thought I had it on perfectly. It wasn't until an hour later I realized I missed a piece of dust towards the bottom when I was cleaning the screen and as a result a little bubble had formed. Seeing as how I'm OCD It really bothered me. Thus, I removed it and thoroughly cleaned the surface before using the second sheet. I just finished applying it (which took all of 15 seconds) and like any screen of this sort I had a few bubbles. Those who are complaining of the bubbles need to go back to elementary school and learn how to use their fingers again because it took me maybe a minute to push the bubbles around to the edge so that they would all disappear. Now, 2 minutes after starting to applying it the screen is bubble free and perfect.
Absolutely no complaints here. If you have used a screen like this before (with a cell phone, etc.) the only difference is the size. The process of applying it is no different, and to tell you the truth I think easier since it is easier to line up the bottom and sides when placing it.

I am happy with the product. It significantly cut down on the glare and hugely helped with finger prints. When applying the sheet use a piece of tape to remove any fuzzy things that get trapped on the sticky side and a credit card to smooth out the bubbles, then it'll fit and look great.

The instructions on the back of this product are not enough--before you apply the screen protector be sure to watch the application on YouTube. It makes a WORLD of difference. The application itself is not very difficult. I followed the video's instructions and was able to remove ALL of the air bubbles. This screen protector does a great job at cutting down on the glare and on smudges, and if it wears as well as the ones I have on my iPhones, I'll never have to replace it.
